About this file
This document is an addendum to a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by Baldwin County for the construction of pickleball and tennis courts. The addendum includes several updates to the original bid schedule, such as haul and placement of crusher run, installation of fencing and gates, removal of a wooden tennis backdrop, net and court striping, and geotechnical testing responsibilities. The bid schedule has been amended to reflect these changes, including updated item descriptions, quantities, and unit pricing. The addendum also provides details on the court configurations, such as the separation of north/south pickleball courts, the installation of gates for ADA accessibility, and the requirement for tournament-grade nets.
The document outlines the project scope, including the construction of 20 pickleball courts and 2 tennis courts, as well as the installation of related infrastructure such as fencing, gates, and sidewalks. The contractor will be responsible for the geotechnical testing and ensuring that the courts meet the specified planarity and court specifications. The pricing terms and funding sources are not explicitly stated in this addendum.
