About this file
This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) for the procurement and installation of one Stellar 3315 crane or equivalent onto an agency-owned 2005 Freightliner fish planting truck located at the Columbia Basin Hatchery in Moses Lake, WA. The crane must have a minimum 260-degree hydraulic rotation ability, hydraulic extension of at least 14 feet, and ability to deliver fish up to 300 lbs to the tank hatch. The RFQ includes equipment viewing opportunities on December 16-17, 2024, questions due by December 20, 2024, and bid submissions due by December 27, 2024 at noon. The work must be completed by March 31, 2025.
The RFQ provides a bid preference of 3% to vendors who do not require mandatory individual arbitration clauses for employees. WDFW intends to award to the lowest responsive and responsible bid from a Small Business or Veteran-Owned Business for this contract valued under $150,000, unless none are responsive. The agency will deliver and pick up the truck within 300 road miles of Moses Lake; vendors beyond that distance must handle transportation. Payment terms are net 30 days upon satisfactory completion with no progress payments allowed. Vendors must be registered with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and provide their Cargo Tank number with their bid.
