About this file
This document is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) for the procurement of high-quality butterfly valves. The primary objective is to obtain 24-inch and 36-inch butterfly valves suitable for buried service at the Forks Creek Hatchery. The required specifications include a factory-applied corrosion-resistant coating, tight closing mechanism, minimum working pressure of 125 psig, 2-inch operator nut, and compliance with NSF-61 standards. The RFQ requires delivery by June 18th, 2024 to the Forks Creek Hatchery location. Vendors must submit their quotations by no later than 12 pm on May 15th, 2024.
The RFQ states that WDFW will evaluate bids based on best value and provide a 3% bid preference to any vendor that does not require employees to sign mandatory individual arbitration clauses or class/collective action waivers. Payment will be processed upon satisfactory delivery and acceptance of the products. The RFQ also notes that WDFW is trying to minimize the purchase of products containing polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and requests packaging without color or dyes.
