About this file

This document contains a pre-solicitation notice and request for information from the Department of the Navy regarding research and development support services. The Naval Research Laboratory seeks sources capable of providing expertise in experimental and theoretical research projects involving remote sensing and modeling of the neutral atmosphere and ionosphere from 0-500km. Services required include hardware engineering, software engineering, scientific computation and analysis, and project coordination for current and planned satellite-based instruments. Theoretical support is needed for numerical modeling of terrestrial and planetary atmospheres, development of remote sensing techniques, data assimilation, and analysis of solar and terrestrial data sets. Interested parties should submit a capabilities statement by October 15th demonstrating experience providing similar services, with past performance details if applicable. The statement should not exceed five pages.
