This document is a Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for a contemplated Short-Term Vehicle Rental IDIQ contract at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida. The key requirements include providing flexible vehicle rentals with 24-hour support, meeting specific vehicle condition and equipment standards, and assuming risk of loss or damage to the rented vehicles. The government anticipates renting 50-300 vehicles of various types (compact, mid-size, full-size, luxury, minivan, cargo van, 15-passenger van, pickup trucks, and SUVs) for an estimated 30-day period per order, with two orders per year (spring and fall).

The related federal contract opportunity is a pre-solicitation notice, seeking market research on the availability and capability of businesses to provide this service. The anticipated NAICS code is 532111 - Passenger Car Rental, with a $47.0 million size standard. Interested vendors are requested to provide company information, capabilities statements, and feedback on the draft PWS by October 29, 2024. The government may or may not revise the draft PWS based on the feedback received, and any future solicitation will be made available on sam.gov.
