About this file

This is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) for sandblasting and painting services of aerospace ground equipment (AGE) and specialized vehicles for the 4th Equipment Maintenance Squadron at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. The contractor must provide all labor, tools, hardware, and equipment necessary to repaint vehicles and equipment at their own facility, with capability to handle equipment weighing up to 16,000 pounds. Work must comply with Technical Orders 35-1-3, 35-1-18, 1-1-8, and 1-1-691 for corrosion control, surface preparation, painting, and marking requirements. The contractor is responsible for pickup and delivery coordination through the Contracting Officer Representative within three business days of task order award, with equipment pickup/delivery within ten calendar days.

The contractor must provide a one-year warranty on all workmanship and maintain availability for government correspondence during business hours (0800-1700 M-F EST). Performance standards require 90% of repairs to meet OEM paint standards and Technical Order requirements to achieve satisfactory ratings, with 100% compliance needed for excellent ratings. The contractor must use the Government Furnished Property Module for documenting property transfers and submit invoices through Wide Area Work Flow using Reparable Receiving Reports. Performance evaluation covers quality, schedule adherence, management responsiveness, warranty repair timeliness, and proper documentation of identification placards and repair records.
