About this file
This performance work statement outlines preventative maintenance services required for two Thermo Phenom XL desktop scanning electron microscopes owned by the Army Research Laboratory. The base year contract requires annual preventative maintenance for each microscope, including inspection and cleaning of various components, software upgrades, and discounts on non-covered repairs and additional services. Option years add electron source inspection and replacement. Onsite service will occur once per year or if issues arise, with an option to extend onsite service at $2,800 per day or ship instruments for offsite repair. The period of performance is 60 months total including a base year and four option years. The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation from the Department of the Army Materiel Command seeking these preventative maintenance and repair services for the microscopes.
