3.1.b. Initial inspection of all water closets, hot water heaters, grease trap, water fountains, faucets at pavilions, urinals, shower apparatus, lavatories and service sinks in the five (5) comfort stations, bathhouse and concession buildings, first aid room, pump stations located at the Dry Brooks Day Use and Boat Ramp Areas, and lift station in the Day Use Area will be made to ascertain readiness for operation. All fixtures and valves shall be assembled, adjusted and made ready for operation. In the event any repairs are needed, the contractor shall notify the Park Manager. Inspect the Lift Station to ascertain readiness for use. Check the level of the 10,000-gallon storage tank. A suggested start up procedure is in Appendix A. This procedure has been developed to guide the contractor in the activation of the system, however the desired outcome is to have all restrooms water systems and sewage collections systems operational as well as functioning pump pits and lift station.

3.2 Operation Procedures

3.2.a For the base year of this contract, operate and maintain For Option Years 1 through 4 of this contract, operate and maintain the water distribution, sewage collection, and drinking fountain system commencing on 1 May terminating on 30 September. It is recommended that the contractor have personnel at the site ten (10) to fifteen (15) days prior to the starting date to prepare all equipment and reassemble valves for operation.
