About this file
This document is an Addendum to the solicitation for the City of Griffin's 2024 TSPLOST Paving - Year Three Streets project, Bid # 24-010. The addendum modifies the original bidding documents dated October 2024, including changes to the bid date, last day for questions, and a revised bid tabulation. The project involves paving remediation on multiple streets within the City of Griffin, with a total of approximately 73,000 square yards of work. The types of remediation include full depth reconstruction, cold in-place recycling, functional overlay, geosynthetic interlayer, slab replacement, microsurfacing treatment, and structural overlay. The revised bid tabulation includes an alternate for full depth reclamation in lieu of the original paving types. The selected contractor must provide proof of required insurance, executed construction agreement, and performance and payment bonds by December 3, 2024, and the project is scheduled to be awarded at the City of Griffin Board of Commissioners meeting on December 10, 2024. The addendum also provides clarification on lane closures and the use of the City's landfill for disposal of demolition debris and waste dirt.
The contract will be awarded to a single contractor. The addendum does not provide any details on pricing terms, set-asides, incumbents, funding requirements or sources, or any other financial information.
