Statement of Work (SOW)
Passenger Vehicles
22 March 2022
1. The Government requires eleven 19 (each) Sedans and 3 (each) Passenger Vans (or equal) with the minimum passenger capacity of five (5) passengers, with unlimited mileage. All vehicles must be in good, safe operating conditions. All vehicles shall meet national and state safety requirements and have, at a minimum the following safety features: seatbelts, rear view mirrors, windshield wipers, parking brake, horn, and factory standard emergency repair kit. All vehicles shall include current registration for operation in the state of Alaska. Vehicles shall be free of excessive soil, rust, and damage, and must be a 2010 year model or newer.
2. Period of Performance: 7 June-26 June 2022
‐ Additional Periods of Performance will be evaluated in order to meet Government needs to the maximum extent practicable.
‐ The government will considered making multiple awards.
3. All taxes, insurance, and fees must be included in the pricing. This will be awarded as a firm fixed price contract.
4. Insurance: The contractor shall include full coverage insurance and road side assistance at no additional cost. The contractor will carry insurance that meet’s US and state requirements and to cover the cost for replacement or repair of vehicles lost, stolen or damaged through criminal acts, natural acts (commonly called acts of God), or hostile acts. This is to preclude the government from being held liable for claims generating from any of the above. Multiple drivers will be required to drive the vehicles and the government shall ensure all drivers have valid Driver’s License. Driver’s will be required to follow all US, Alaska, and Eielson Air Force Base driving laws and regulations. Vehicles will not be allowed outside of the state of Alaska, off‐road, or down any unpaved road for a distance greater than five (5) miles.
5. Recovery: Upon proper notification, the contractor will recover disabled vehicles. This service shall be available 24 hours a day. The government will not liable for the cost of renting a disabled vehicle that is not replaced within 24 hours of notification of the disabled vehicle.
6. Damages: Any new damages to vehicles at time of vehicle return will be evaluated by the contracting officer to determine fault. For any damages determined to be due to government negligence, the vendor shall provide a detailed cost breakout to repair the vehicle.
7. Inspection: All vehicles will be inspected upon vehicle acceptance and return by a contractor and government official. Prior to acceptance photos will be taken as a reference. Any damages will be annotated and copies of the inspection will be provided to the government official.
8. Tracking: All vehicles will be monitored by the CTS Fleet Manager and will coordinate vehicle turn in.
8. Additional Pricing Request: For all vehicles quoted please provide additional daily, weekly, and monthly rates (with all fees included).

9. Payment: Payment will be made upon vehicle return. Payments will be made by Wide Area
WorkFlow (WAWF) utilizing the instructions in DFARS 252.232‐7006 Wide Area WorkFlow
Payment Instructions as stated in the solicitation and resulting contract(s).
10. Fuel: The government will bring the vehicles back with the same amount of fuel that they were received with.
