About this file

This is a Purchase Description for a FEMAP software license acquisition supporting the DEVCOM Aviation and Missile Center at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. The requirement is for annual subscription software licenses for finite element analysis (FEA) and related engineering simulation tools, specifically: five floating licenses of FEMAP with NX Nastran Basic (E601-X), one floating license of FEMAP Thermal Solver (E306-X), and one floating license of FEMAP with NXN Multistep Nonlinear (E525-X). These premium computer-aided engineering tools are essential for conducting structural and thermal analysis to support ongoing engineering and development efforts.

The contractor shall provide fully operational licenses ready for immediate use upon delivery to Building 5400, Room D327 at DEVCOM Aviation and Missile Center, 5400 Fowler Road, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama 35898. No travel is required for contract performance. The associated federal contract opportunity (Solicitation Number PANRSA26P00000039180) is being conducted as a sole source procurement with Paydarfar Industries, Inc., under FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(B), as the only source capable of fulfilling the government's requirement due to FEMAP's unique native integration with proprietary environments. The procurement is being managed by the Department of the Army Materiel Command Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal and utilizes NAICS Code 513210.

Purchase Description

FEMAP License Purchase

Background:

A finite element analysis (FEA) software, FEMAP with NX Nastran, is a premium computer-aided engineering (CAE) tool used for virtual simulation and modeling of product performance in various engineering applications. It is a vital component for conducting structural and thermal analysis to ensure the reliability and safety of designs. The requirement is for annual subscription licenses to support ongoing engineering and development efforts.

Performance Requirements:

The contractor shall provide annual subscription software licenses for the following FEMAP products. Once provided, the licenses shall be ready for use.

The requirement consists of acquiring the following software licenses:

· 5x E601-X: FEMAP with NX Nastran: Basic (Floating) - Annual subscription software license. This provides a complete, flexible, and powerful finite element solution with a comprehensive suite of pre- and post-processing capabilities.

· 1x E306-X: FEMAP Thermal Solver (Floating) - Annual subscription software license. This adds state-of-the-art thermal analysis solutions to the FEMAP environment to model nonlinear and transient heat transfer processes.

· 1x E525-X: FEMAP with NXN: Multistep Nonlinear (F) - Annual subscription software license. This provides comprehensive capabilities for geometric nonlinearity, contact, plasticity, creep, hyper-elasticity, and other nonlinear material behaviors.

Travel:

Travel is not anticipated in the performance of this contract.

Deliverables:

The contractor shall provide the software licenses to the following:

DEVCOM Aviation and Missile Center 5400 Fowler Rd.

Building 5400, Room D327 Redstone Arsenal, Alabama 35898
