About this file
The document appears to be a Justification and Approval (J&A) for a sole source procurement related to the ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation renewal for the U.S. Army Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) Support Centers located at Dugway, UT, Tobyhanna Army Depot, PA, and Warren, MI.
The J&A outlines the requirement to renew the existing accreditations for these TMDE Support Centers every two years through 2029. The contractor will be tasked with reviewing the government's documentation, evaluating and auditing it, and applying it to the Scopes of Accreditation for each location. This service includes on-site audits by the contractor's subject matter experts to accredit each TMDE Support Center calibration laboratory to the ISO 17025 standard. The sole source procurement is justified due to the urgency of the mission requirement and the need for an institution with the authority to assess the laboratories in accordance with ISO 17025 standards.
