Purchase Description
EXata + Cyber Software Maintenance
Background:
The Technology Development Directorate of the Aviation and Missile Center, Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM AvMC) has a requirement for Exata+Cyber software.
The performance verification of costumer network solutions requires the modeling and high-fidelity emulation of various waveforms and network scenarios. The waveform library currently used by AvMC is a Government Owned Product library referred to as the Joint Network Emulator (JNE) waveform library. JNE runs on the commercially provided simulation environment EXata supported by Keysight Technologies Inc. The Army, and other military services, have invested tens of millions of dollars to provide high fidelity legacy (e.g., EPLRS, SINCGARS, LINK-16, LINK-11, SATCOM, AM/FM, Cellular, etc.) and high fidelity emerging (e.g., JTRS WNW, JTRS HNW, J.TRS NCW, MUOS, etc.) waveform emulation support to its developers within the EXata/JNE tool set. No other software simulation environment has this unique capability and to reproduce it would be cost prohibitive.
Performance Requirements:
The contractor shall provide one (1) software maintenance license renewal for EXata+Cyber software, to be licensed for the period of one (1) year. The license shall include any software updates or improvements as well as customer support for the licensed software.
