About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for a grounds maintenance pre-solicitation at Fort Cavazos. The document contains two vendor questions and responses: one asking about incumbent contractors, to which the government responded that services are currently being performed at Fort Cavazos with details in the PWS, and another asking about sources sought requirements, to which the government indicated a capability statement is required.
The associated opportunity is being issued by the Department of the Army Materiel Command Mission and Installation Contracting Command Fort Hood. The scope includes providing management, tools, equipment, and labor for grounds maintenance services at Fort Cavazos, including mowing, trimming, leaf/debris removal, policing areas, and tree preservation. The contractor must maintain high visibility improved grounds and common area semi-improved grounds, with mowing required when minimum height is reached and mower height set to three inches.
