About this file

This is a Request for Information (RFI) and market survey document issued by the Army Contracting Command - Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) on behalf of the National Museum of the United States Army (NMUSA). The government is conducting market research to identify vendors capable of procuring, installing, integrating, and maintaining an AI-powered Evolv eXpedite X-ray baggage screening system. The objective is to replace legacy screening equipment with a high-throughput, automated threat-detection solution that integrates with NMUSA's existing Evolv eXpress walk-through magnetometer to create a unified security checkpoint architecture. The required turnkey solution must include hardware procurement and installation, system integration linking the eXpedite with existing eXpress magnetometers through a unified interface (Evolv Cortex/Control Center), comprehensive on-site operator and administrator training, and a four-year software and services subscription with OEM technical support and AI algorithm updates.

Responses to the market survey are due by 12:00 PM EST on August 5, 2026, and must be submitted electronically in PDF format to Ms. Sydney Huston at sydney.r.huston.civ@army.mil. Interested vendors must address seven specific questions including authorized reseller and certified integrator status for Evolv products, technical integration approach and experience, OEM support capabilities, site preparation electrical and network requirements, estimated lead times from contract award to final installation, UEI and CAGE code information, and a market research quote. This RFI is for planning and information-gathering purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for proposals, invitation for bids, or authority to enter contract negotiations. No funds have been authorized for this effort, and respondents will not be reimbursed for costs associated with submitting information. Confidential and trade secret information must be clearly marked as "CONFIDENTIAL" in accordance with 18 U.S.C. Section 1905.

· On-Site Training: Comprehensive operator and administrator training for security personnel.

· Long-Term Support: Provision of a four (4)-year software and services subscription, inclusive of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) technical support, and routine AI algorithm updates.

3. OEM Support: Can your company provide a comprehensive four (4)-year software and services subscription backed directly by OEM technical support?

4. Site Preparation Requirements: What specific electrical power configuration and network drops are required at the NMUSA checkpoint prior to installation?

Additionally, marked data that is already in the public domain or in the possession of the Government or third parties, or afterward placed into the public domain by the owner or another party through no fault of the Government will not be protected once in the public domain.
