About this file

This document is a Packaging Requirements form for a federal contract (Purchase Instrument Number: FD20302500817-00). The document specifies detailed packaging standards for three specific item numbers (6685011682426TP, 6685DTH250061, 6685OAH250031), requiring compliance with MIL-STD 129 (Revision R) and MIL-STD 2073-1 (Revision E). Critical requirements include using heat-treated (HT) debarked wood packaging materials that meet United Nations restrictions on wood packaging material (WPM) to prevent invasive species transmission, with certification required by the American Lumber Standards Committee (ALSC).

The packaging instructions mandate military packaging and marking standards, with specific shipping container marking criteria that include additional requirements beyond standard military marking practices. The document provides detailed packaging specifications, such as unit pack weight (6.90), length (12.5), width (12.5), depth (18.5), and cube (1.673 M). The packaging specialist is Billy S from the 406 SCMS / GULAA organization, with a contact number of 405-582-9721, and the document is dated 12 MAR 2025.
