About this file

This is an AFMC Form 158 Packaging Requirements document for Purchase Instrument Number FD20302601676-00, Version 1, establishing packaging and marking standards for five items across multiple packaging requirement codes (PACRN).

The document specifies that all wood packaging material (WPM) including pallets, skids, boxes, crates, and dunnage must comply with United Nations restrictions on invasive species, specifically the pinewood nematode. All wooden materials must be constructed from debarked wood and heat-treated to 56 degrees Centigrade (133 degrees Fahrenheit) for 30 minutes, with certification by an accredited agency recognized by the American Lumber Standards Committee (ALSC) per International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPM) No. 15. Four items require specific military packaging standards: items 6130015981193HY and 6130014975713NT require MIL Long Line Packaging at Preservation Level MIL with Packaging Level B; item 6130DTH2601CC requires no packaging data; and items 6130OAH260090 and 6130OAH260091 require no packaging data. All packaged items must comply with MIL-STD-2073-1 (Standard Practice for Military Packaging) and MIL-STD-129 Revision R (Standard Practice for Military Marking). Shipping container marking must include unit serial numbers, original equipment manufacturer (OEM) names, and OEM model numbers as specified. Item 6130014975713NT requires special marking for electrostatic discharge (ESD) and reusable containers. The packaging requirements were prepared by Richard R. Davis, Packaging Specialist, 406 SCMS/GULAA, on May 13, 2026.
