About this file
This is Addendum #2 to an Informal Written Quote issued by Gwinnett County for the purchase of sodium chloride on an annual basis under IWQ 1-685139. The original quote submittal deadline of June 18, 2025, at 3:00 P.M. has been postponed to Wednesday, June 25, 2025, no later than 3:00 P.M. All references to the June 18, 2025 date throughout the Invitation documents have been updated to reflect the new June 25, 2025 deadline, with quotes to be submitted no later than 2:50 P.M. Authorized representatives must sign the addendum in the designated space and return it with their quote submission; failure to do so may result in the bid being deemed non-responsive.
In response to a submitted question regarding product specifications, Gwinnett County clarified that salt products containing Yellow Prussiate of Soda as an anti-caking agent are not acceptable. The salt must meet minimum specifications without any additives. This specification requirement is binding, and vendors must ensure their proposed products comply with this standard.
