About this file

This document is an Addendum containing Questions and Answers (Q&A) related to Request for Quote #P24-0181 issued by the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA). The RFQ is for a 2023 Haulmark Passport 8.5x16 Cargo Enclosed Trailer. Key details include the trailer's gross vehicle weight rating of 7,000 lbs, a preference for spring axles and a flat roof, and 2 5/16 in ball coupler style. The interior dimensions are 8.5x16x7ft, and the trailer will be used to store supplies and equipment for CDFA's field personnel and to transport larger supplies/equipment. CDFA will register the vehicle, and a 2024 model may be an acceptable alternative if the 2023 model is sold out.

Regarding pricing, CDFA will not provide the plan holder list, which is considered a California Public Records Act request that must be submitted separately. No other pricing or funding details are provided. The contract appears to be for a single trailer purchase, with no mention of renewal options or set-asides.
