Brawner House
NOTES:
1. Remove all existing gutters and downspouts where applicable and carefully store them on site for re-installation.
2. Remove existing wood shingles and associated flashing, and related roofing material.
3. Repair or replace existing deteriorated roofing components to include sheathing or wood skip sheathing.
4. Infill existing skip sheathing to make sheathing solid a minimum of 24” on all sides of all chimneys.
5. Install self-adhering underlayment around all chimneys.
6. Install new wood shingles and associated flashing.
7. Reinstall gutters and downspouts using original gutters and downspouts.
8. Install chimney caps on all chimneys.
9. Minimize the construction limits of the project to reduce the project’s impact on the site. No ground disturbance is allowed.
10. Toxic Chemicals: Avoid materials that can leach into the ground water.
11. Waste Management: Employ processes that ensure the generation of as little waste as possible.
Recycling is a requirement of this project. All material unsuitable for recycling must be disposed of, in a legal manner, at public or private dumping areas outside the park. Waste management plan shall be submitted in draft for approval prior to Preconstruction meeting.
12. Staging area shall be determined in the field with the government.
13. Construction zone shall be marked with banner guard imprinted with "CAUTION:
CONSTRUCTION AREA", manufactured by Reef Industries, Inc., Houston, Texas, or approved equal.
14. Contractor shall protect tree trunks and root systems of trees in or adjacent to work area.
15. Observe and enforce standards of fire prevention. No open fires are permitted. Provide one fire extinguisher on each vehicle. Do not store flammable or combustible liquids in existing structures. Equip all gasoline and diesel powered equipment used in grass fire locations with spark arresters approved by U.S. Forest Service.

17. Potable water is not available on site.
18. Provide and maintain temporary toilet facilities in accordance with State Health Department and
