Text version

Government answers to Contractor questions provided IAW with:

(D) Solicitation provisions –

(1) 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors – Commercial Items (by reference, see SF 1449 Block 27a);

(2) Addenda to 52.212-1

(3) 52.212-2 Evaluation – Commercial Items

Section 1.2 Submission of Questions

Question: Will there be a planned period for demos during the evaluation/selection process?

Answer: The Government does not anticipate allowing for any given vendor(s) to provide a technical demonstration.

However, please see page 29 of the RFQ, a. Technical Approach, bullet 3. Any offeror may provide additional substantiating evidence of the performance of their quoted solution (in the form of brochures or manuals for example; or screen-shots, or any other type of evidence) and that evidence is not counted against the page limit of the narrative description of how the solution meets the QA/QC, Reports, Storage, etc., requirements of the RFQ.

NOTE - the NPS e-mail system limits the size of attachments that can be provided in a single e-mail to 25 MB.

The appropriate work around is to submit sequential e-mails with attachments that individually do not exceed the limit (even if they collectively add up to more than 25 MB).

The Government will re-combine documents that have to be split-up to accommodate this limitation.

The time required to split and send messages should be accounted for in the context of the deadline time for the receipt of quotes.
