SYNOPSIS

The Department of the Interior-National Park Service (NPS), Southeast Region intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) to award a firm fixed price contract for the rehabilitation of the Anhinga Boardwalk and Trail at Royal Palm, located in Everglades National Park, 40001 State Road 9336, Homestead, FL 33034. The work includes providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, transportation and supervision for the removal of existing boardwalk and trail and replacement of all the removed parts/materials in accordance with the Statement of Work and Drawings that will conform part of the solicitation. This requirement is being prepared in accordance with FAR Part 36, Construction Contracts, and will be solicited as 100% Small Business Set-Aside.

NAICS Code: 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, Standard Business Size is $36.5M.

The solicitation including all bid documents will be posted to the websites, http://www.fedbizopps.gov and https://www.fedconnect.net on or about 1 June 2015, if you have any registration questions please call their help desk at (800) 899-6665. This solicitation (and any amendments) will be issued electronically only; no hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed or issued. To receive the solicitation package you must download it from one of the above sites. Therefore is the contractor's responsibility to check the internet site daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. Contractors must be registered in the SAM- System for Award Management (Formerly Central Contractor Registration) in order to receive contract awards. Due to the nature of the project a mandatory site visit will be required. The date and time for the site visit will be specified in the solicitation. CAUTION: The Government is under no obligation to maintain a bidder's list. It is the incumbent for any interested parties to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any amendments and respond to them by the date and time set for receipt of proposal/quotes or amendments may render the offeror nonresponsive and result in the rejection of the offer. All prospective contractors are required to submit or upload their organization representation and certifications at www.SAM.gov prior to submitting their offer. Failure to do so will render an offer nonresponsive. No telephone offers accepted.
