The Statement of Need Tool Carts Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center 1700 Wheeling Street, Aurora, CO 80045
GENERAL: Rocky Mountain Regional VAMC, Facilities Management Service, 1700 N. Wheeling Street, Aurora, CO, 80045, has a requirement for tool carts for the HVAC Mechanics, and Refrigeration Technicians.
BACKGROUND: HVAC and Refrigeration Shops are currently using outdated tool carts from the previous location on the Clermont Facility. These carts are currently being used by the Industrial and Electrical shops and the features and storage space available allows the mechanics to be more efficient allowing for faster repairs.
PURPOSE: These tool carts will give the mechanics and technicians all the mobility and availability to have a full set of tools with them throughout the hospital to make any necessary repairs. The equipment will allow to work directly in the locations where repairs or maintenance are needed, from repairs to a leak in one of the patient rooms to replacing actuators for air flow or repair to ice/water machines.
SCOPE: Rocky Mountain Regional’s Facility Management Service’s HVAC Mechanics and Refrigeration Technicians tool carts.

TRAINING: Government will not require training.
WARRANTY OF EQUIPMENT: Government requirement for standard manufacturer industry warranty term. Government does not accept extended warranty, which requires advance payment.
DELIVERY SCHEDULE: All items to be delivered and or installed within 30 days of purchase order processing and order placement.
