Statement of Need Brand Name or Equal To PureSteel Ergonomic WorkStations
PureSteel™ Ergonomic WorkStations were designed to specifically address worker ergonomics, workflow and reprocessing efficiencies in the assembly and inspection of instruments and sterilization trays. PureSteel Ergonomic WorkStations feature electro-mechanical lifters to allow equipment to be adjusted to each user’s most ergonomic, optimal height. The lifters feature 3-year warranties and require no on-site maintenance or servicing during their use, reducing overall service repair costs, downtime, and staff hours to repair and upkeep.
PureSteel Ergonomic WorkStations feature a built-in light into the tabletop of each station for the inspection of sterilization wrap. The light can be made brighter or dimmer with a dimmer switch for different wrap sizes and weights. Built-in lights can be easily replaced without the need of facilities staff by a drawer at the back of each station. The ease of replacement and care reduces service costs and can be serviced same day. Tabletop lights are also highly durable and scratch-resistant for regular use with heavy trays and instrumentation.
Organizational pegboards are custom solutions to organize and mount accessories at point-of-use without wasting counter space. All accessories with power are routed through the back of the pegboard and channeled, protecting electrical cords from physical damage, and keeping counters free of wiring. Each station features up to eight (8) additional power outlets so departments can add and remove powered accessories to stations with ease and flexibility.
Tables should be 84”L x 32”D to accommodate the department requirements of the Rocky Mountain VA Medical Center’s project. Tables must include built-in lights for wrap inspection, and back wall pegboards for accessory mounting. Tables should also include borescopes at every table to allow end users the opportunity to visually inspect lumened instruments.
