Emergency Repairs – 1250T Trane Centrifugal Chiller / 950T Absorption Chiller Description of Services The Omaha VAMC has an unusual and compelling urgent service required as defined by FAR 6.302-2 to preclude impairment of healthcare delivery and air conditioning required per ASHRAE/VA HVAC design manual. The main hospital requires immediate service on it’s largest water cooled chiller located on the southside of the building adjacent to the doctor’s parking lot after a freeze event caused water to evacuate the chiller in it’s rupture disc. The facility will lack redundancy and will be unable to temper extreme ambient conditions.
