About this file

This document is a Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition (JOFOC) for a sole source contract award to Standard Communications Inc. (SCI), an SDVOSB vendor, for software support and assurance services for the Jeron Nurse Call system at the White River Junction VA Medical Center (VAMC).

The contract will provide remote managed services, on-site maintenance/support, and software support and assurance for the Jeron Nurse Call system for a 5-year period of performance from August 1, 2024 to July 31, 2029. The Contracting Officer determined the anticipated cost to the government will be fair and reasonable based on market research and comparison to similar prior contracts. The sole source justification cites 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(5) and 38 U.S.C. 8127(c), as SCI is the exclusive authorized Jeron distributor for the VA and there are no other capable sources. The JOFOC was approved by the Contracting Officer and Branch Chief.
