About this file

This document is a sole source justification for a federal contract award. The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 7 issued solicitation number 36C24721Q1247 to procure a Medtronic Stealth Station Navigation System for the Atlanta VA Medical Center. The sole source award was made to Veterans Healthcare Supply Solutions, Inc. for $938,381 on September 7, 2021 in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation part 819.7007, which authorizes noncompetitive awards to verified service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses. The justification cites Veterans Healthcare Supply Solutions' past successful experience providing similar Medtronic equipment to VISN 7 facilities and ability to meet delivery timelines. The requirement is to replace older obsolete systems and reduce training time for medical staff.
