Justification for Single Source Awards IAW FAR 13.106-1 For

Over Micro-Purchase Threshold but Not Exceeding the SAT ($250K)

2. Brief Description of Supplies/ Services required and the intended use/Estimated Amount:

Service Contract for the Spacelabs healthcare patient monitors. This service agreement is for the maintenance and updates of the patient monitors and accompanying software. Spacelabs is the only approved company that can maintain this software as it is proprietary.

Base year: 10/01/2023-09/30/2024 $50,760.00 Option year One: 10/01/2024-09/30/2025 $50,760.00 Option year Two: 10/01/2025-09/30/2026 $50,760.00 Option year Three: 10/01/2026-09/30/2027 $50,760.00 Option year Four: 10/01/2027-09/30/2028 $50,760.00 Total Cost: $253,800.00

3. Unique characteristics that limit availability to only one source, with the reason no other supplies or services can be used:

The supplies or services required by the Agency are available from only on responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

4. Description of market research conducted and results or statement why it was not conducted:

Spacelabs is the only vendor authorized to perform services and software updates to the Spacelabs patient monitors and software. Marker Research was performed using VetCert, SBA Small Dynamic Business Search and GSA eLibrary.

5. Contracting Officer's Certification: Purchase is approved in accordance with FAR13.106-1(b). I certify that the foregoing justification is accurate and complete to the best of my knowledge and belief.
