About this file

This document is a justification for a sole source award to New England Sports Network (NESN) for advertising services. The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 1 awarded contract 36C24120P0938 to NESN for $100,000 to broadcast public service announcements during Boston Red Sox and Bruins games from September 2020 through September 2021. The advertising will promote VA healthcare services and enrollment throughout New England through pre-game, in-game, post-game and overnight spots as well as digital and social media placements. NESN is justified as the sole source as they own the exclusive rights to broadcast the Red Sox and Bruins in New England, and no other vendor can provide the required regional coverage of these sporting events.
