About this file

This acquisition plan outlines a proposed sole source contract award for Medeco electronic key fobs, cores, and programmers for the Department of Veterans Affairs Central Texas VA Medical Center in Temple, Texas. The procurement is being justified under the brand name exception due to the components needing to be compatible with Medeco's existing web-based access control software and intelligent key system currently deployed across Temple, Waco and Austin VA facilities. Only Medeco brand name products will interface with the VA approved Medeco XT Web Manager software. The solicitation number for this sole source requirement is 36C25723Q1070 for Medeco electronic cores, key supplies, and related accessories for continued interoperability with the VA's installed Medeco electronic locking solutions.
