About this file

This document is a justification for a sole source award for maintenance and support services for an Elekta OIS system at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center. The Department of Veterans Affairs requires maintenance and support for the software and hardware of the OIS to maintain it to OEM specifications. The proposed new contract would have a start date of January 1, 2021 for a base year with four one-year option periods and a completion date of December 31, 2026. The base year value is estimated at $138,768.49 and the total contract value at $693,822.45. An intent to sole source was published on June 16, 2020 with no responses received by the June 22nd deadline. Market research found no other responsible sources through searches on Vendor Information Pages and SBA databases using NAICS code 511210 and keyword "Elekta." The anticipated costs were determined to be fair and reasonable based on pricing under the incumbent contract.
