2. Brief Description of Supplies/ Services required and the intended use/Estimated Amount:
The Cheyenne VAMC requires software service agreements for their Unified Victor Video Management System to operate their exisiting police surviellence cameras properly. This procurment will result in a firm-fixed price contract.
The estimated amount of the contract total will be; base year , and one option year at totaling

3. Unique characteristics that limit availability to only one source, with the reason no other supplies or services can be used:
The Cheyenne VAMC is currently using Software House software to run their Surveillance equipment. Software House is the only software the existing surviellence equipment is designed to accept. Without the required brand name software agreement, the police will have a significantly reduced ability to keep the staff and the patients at the VAMC safe. As such, changing the software would require a change in the equipment operating on the software. The additional cost associated with the turnover of equipment would not be fiscally responsible.
