About this file
This document is a justification for a sole source award of a contract for general building maintenance and handyman services at the San Francisco Veterans Administration Medical Center. The contract would be awarded on a sole source basis to Patriot Construction Inc., a verified service-disabled veteran-owned small business. The performance period would be from October 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024 with an estimated total value of $741,058. The justification cites the authority to award sole source contracts of up to $5 million to verified SDVOSBs or VOSBs under the VAAR. The requirement is for short-term general building maintenance staffing assistance while the medical center expands its hiring efforts for permanent facilities positions.
