2. Brief Description of Supplies/ Services required and the intended use/Estimated Amount: A Firm-Fixed purchase order for the equipment of Titan V4 Interacoustics Middle Ear Analyzer; Quantity of 2 Each Estimated Cost:

$23,182.00

3. Unique characteristics that limit availability to only one source, with the reason no other supplies or services can be used: The Titan V4 Interacoustics Titan V4 is a clinical handheld middle ear analyzer and otoprotective emission (OAE) system, offering advanced diagnostics including multi-frequency tympanometry acoustic reflexes, and optional DPOAE/TEOAE capabilities. Titan supports both handheld and PC-controlled testing with comprehensive, customizable protocols for ear screenings and diagnostic evaluation. The equipment must be compatible in form, fit and function. The Interacoustics brand connects to NOAH, the current system already in use at the St. Cloud VA that Audiology uses for all their testing and evaluations.

Midwest Special Instruments is the sole source authorized distributor for Interacoustics for Minnesota for both sales and service, and they provide manufacturer authorized/certified technicians for installation, calibration, and training.

Midwest Special Instruments holds the current services contract 36C26323P0550 at the St. Cloud VA for testing, calibration, and maintenance of 74 pieces of audiology equipment. The Middle Ear Analyzers will be added to the maintenance contract.

4. Description of market research conducted and results or statement why it was not conducted: Due to compatibility and brand name of the already existing equipment at the St. Cloud VA, reached out to Midwest Special Instruments, the authorized distributor of Interacoustics products and services for a quote.
