About this file

This document provides instructions for vendors to verify their approved roster categories through the OpenGov Procurement portal for the City of Seattle. The City of Seattle is establishing a Citywide Consultant Roster for Construction and Building Related Consulting services through Request for Qualification (RFQ) # CTY-CR-2025-05, seeking qualified consultants across 17 distinct service categories including ADA Accessibility Consulting, Architectural Services, Bridge/Retaining Wall Design, Construction Management, Environmental Assessment, Geotechnical Services, and Waterproofing/Roofing Diagnosis. Applicants must have completed at least three projects in their respective category and possess key personnel with appropriate professional licenses and certifications. The roster application release date is September 2, 2025, with a question response deadline of December 1, 2025, and a final response submission deadline of December 30, 2030. The roster will be active from December 15, 2025, through December 31, 2030, a five-year cycle.

Participation is restricted to small business concerns as defined by the Small Business Administration's size standards, with non-profit organizations explicitly excluded. Each department can utilize an approved roster consultant up to a maximum of $819,000 per year in a specific category, with individual project contracts estimated below $410,000 eligible for award without formal competitive processes. Applicants should expect 2-4 weeks for approval decisions. Vendors can verify their approved roster categories by logging into the OpenGov Procurement portal, navigating to their City of Seattle vendor profile through the Subscriptions tab, accessing the Vendors tab, searching for their business name, and reviewing the "Lists" section of their vendor profile. Common reasons for non-approval include small business priority restrictions, project descriptions that do not clearly reflect the roster category scope, applications still under review, or nonprofit organization designation.
