About this file

This document is Addendum No. 1 to the Invitation for Bid (IFB) OOMWEA27 issued by the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) Office of Procurement and Contract Management (OPCM) for Weather & Pavement Forecast Services. The addendum answers questions from prospective vendors regarding the submission of attachments and provides the pre-bid meeting attendee list. The IFB is for an internet-based weather and pavement forecasting service to be accessible through a web browser and have the capability to automatically receive, store, and display weather service products. Transportation managers will use the data from these services to allocate resources and direct operations to ensure safety and mobility on the MDOT SHA and MdTA highway network.

The addendum clarifies that attachments should be submitted as separate files, not incorporated into the Technical Offer document. The pre-bid meeting was attended by representatives from MDOT SHA's Offices of Procurement and Contract Management and Maintenance, as well as vendors DTN.
