Portable oil condition/analysis and viscosity combination testing kit Salient Characteristics
· Viscosity testing must meet the minimum criteria below:
· Accuracy +/-3% Relative Standard Deviation to NIST viscosity standards
· Solvent free operation: No solvent needed to perform the test or clean the test cell.
· Minimal amount of fluid required to test without impacting lubrication level
· Must be ASTM D8092 Compliant
· Oil condition Monitor
· Infrared Spectrometer used for oil contamination testing
· Ability to calibrate to unique oil-specific algorithms
· Solvent free operation: No solvent needed to perform the test or clean the test cell.
· Minimal amount of fluid required to test without impacting lubrication level
· Ability to measure engine oil total base number (TBN), water, glycol, soot, additive depletion, and oxidation
· Ability to measure total acid number (TAN), water, and oxidation in hydraulic and gearbox oils
· Must be ASTM D7889 compliant
· System must be portable, each individual piece of equipment with case should weigh approximately 20lb or less
· Stored in a weather resistant transportable case
· System must be battery operated with a minimum 6hrs of run time between charges
· Kit must include battery charger, USB cables, support software, user’s manual/programing instructions for both devices.
· Include pipettes and cleaning pads for a minimum of 100 samples
