About this file
This is a supplier and bidder support guide issued by the Ohio Department of Administrative Services to facilitate procurement activities through the OhioBuys platform, the State of Ohio's primary procurement system. The document provides registration and access instructions for businesses seeking to bid on state contracts, including the Ohio Department of Natural Resources' Request for Quotation for boardwalk construction at Barkcamp State Park in Belmont County. The Barkcamp project requires contractors to supply all materials and labor to construct a 6-foot-wide, 40-foot-long boardwalk on a designated hiking trail section between the overlook and beach areas. The RFQ was posted on March 24, 2026, with a submission deadline of April 6, 2026. The procurement documentation does not specify evaluation criteria, site visit schedules, bidders' conferences, award dates, or detailed procedural timelines beyond the stated submission deadline.
The OhioBuys platform serves as the procurement infrastructure for accessing bid opportunities and managing supplier registrations through the integrated OhioPays portal, which requires prospective bidders to obtain an OH|ID account and register as either a full Supplier or Bidder. The support guide directs users to training resources including webinars, job aids, and eLearning videos to facilitate successful participation. No budgeted award value or price range is disclosed in the available RFQ documentation; however, contractors must comply with State of Ohio Standard Terms and Conditions requiring specified insurance coverage including Commercial General Liability ($2,000,000 per occurrence), Automobile Liability ($1,000,000 per accident), and Workers' Compensation with Employer's Liability ($1,000,000 per accident). The procurement documents do not identify specific set-asides, disadvantaged enterprise requirements, incumbent vendors, or organizational type restrictions for eligible bidders. Support is available through the OhioBuys supplier team at supplier.ohiobuys@das.ohio.gov or the Ohio Shared Services Team at OBM.ContactCenter@obm.ohio.gov or 877-644-6771.
