Vendor Issues (and solutions) Brand New Supplier to the State - https://ohid.ohio.gov/wps/portal/gov/ohid/login Click Create Account - You will create and OH ID and password and then follow instructions to get set up as a state Supplier. When registration is complete you will receive a 10-digit Supplier ID and have an Ohio Buys profile ready to submit bids and receive POs.

Signing in - https://ohid.ohio.gov/wps/portal/gov/ohid/login Existing State Suppliers - to sign into your account, you need your OH ID and password. If you don’t have them, start with Forgot OH ID and it will ask you for your e-mail address. This needs to be the e-mail address that was first used to set up your account. Then you will get your OH ID emailed to you and you can use that to do Forgot Password – you will be prompted to set a new password.

If you no longer know or have access to that original email used for the account, you can create a new OH ID and password. Then you should submit an email ticket with your company name, 10-digit OAKS id (if you know it), your name, phone, and email that you would like to tie to your company account.

Getting fully set up in Ohio Buys – Most Suppliers we work with are already registered in OAKS. You have done business with the State in the past, just maybe not in Ohio Buys. If we look you up in Ohio Buys and see that there is no Supplier Admin role set up the best thing to do is to put in an e-mail ticket and say that you want to get set up with the roles to be able to bid and receive emails from Ohio Buys.

You will also need to be able to sign into your account to bid. See above for instructions.

Bidding Viewing Public Solicitations - https://ohiobuys.ohio.gov/page.aspx/en/rfp/request_browse_public You can try to get to a solicitation through the link in the email you receive about the bid. You will push Participate in RFQ and then be prompted to sign into your account to continue bidding.

Or We suggest that you log into your account first https://ohid.ohio.gov/wps/portal/gov/ohid/login Then look at the top of the page for the Sourcing Menu and click on View Public Solicitations. Then when you click into the one you want, you will be already signed in and ready to go.

Most important way to bid – click on the item grid at the left of the solicitation. That will open a page that has a grid of the items you are being asked to bid on. Fill in the total price amount for each item. For services, there is often only one box for the total project price.

You can also attach a pdf bid by dragging and dropping next to where you typed your project total.

If you are having any trouble you can put in a help ticket.

How to put in a help ticket:

1. The best way is to send an email to obm.sharedservices@obm.ohio.gov In the email you can put screen shots of what you are seeing that is causing an issue. You can also add all the contact info and other details about what trouble you are experiencing.

2. You can call 877-644-6771 and someone will take down the information you provide, and they will open an email ticket on your behalf.

Either way, you should hear from someone in 2-3 business days to help you resolve your case.
