About this file

This document contains the Ohio Attorney General's Quick Quote Submission Standards for Suppliers, governing the procurement process for a Veeam Data Platform Advanced License v2 renewal. The Ohio Attorney General is soliciting quotes with a due date of October 15, 2026. This is Round 2 of the bidding process, and any vendor that submitted a bid in Round 1 must resubmit to be considered for award. Submissions must include a PDF of the quote, all relevant terms and conditions or End User License Agreements, and an estimated timeframe for delivery upon purchase-order award. The contracting and purchase-order process may take up to six weeks to complete following award.

Pricing and financial terms are subject to appropriation of funds by the Ohio General Assembly, with payment due 30 calendar days after receipt of a proper invoice. The Ohio Attorney General is exempt from sales and use taxes and will not reimburse vendors for travel or travel-related expenses. All procurement activities and resulting purchases are governed by Ohio law, with exclusive venue in the Court of Claims in Franklin County, Ohio. Vendors must comply with all submission standards and instructions, warrant they possess necessary licenses and qualifications to conduct business in Ohio, and confirm they are not subject to unresolved findings for recovery or boycott activities. If a vendor is offering goods or services under a State Contract, the submission must include the state contract number and expiration date, and the AGO may give preference to state contract suppliers even if their pricing is higher than non-contract responses. Vendor-supplied terms, including manufacturer or licensor terms, are subordinate to the AGO's terms and conditions in case of conflict. All supplier employees, subcontractors, and subcontractor employees are subject to the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation's Visitor and Non-FOP AGO Employee DNA Sample Collection protocol.

Ohio Attorney General’s Office (AGO) Quick Quote Submission Standards for Suppliers

Submissions that do not comply may be rejected. By submitting a bid, suppliers agree to these Standards.

(2) AGO Reservation of Rights. The AGO reserves the right to reject any submission not in its best interest, or the AGO may decline to do business with any responding supplier. The AGO may cancel or reissue this Quick Quote at its sole discretion.

(3) State of Ohio Contract Identification. If a supplier is offering goods or services under a State Contract (e.g. STS, MMA, etc.) the submission must include the State contract number and expiration date. The AGO may give preference to suppliers on a State contract, even if their pricing is higher than non-contract responses.

(4) Applicable Laws.

• Governing Law. This procurement and any resulting purchase shall be governed by the laws of the State of Ohio.

• Invalid Terms. Any term deemed void or unenforceable under Ohio law (including the Ohio Constitution and ORC 9.27) will be removed, with the remaining provisions remaining in effect.

• Certification of Funds. In accordance with ORC 126.07, performance by the AGO is contingent upon appropriated funds. If funding is not continued by the Ohio General Assembly, the purchase will terminate without further AGO obligation.

(5) Submission of Terms and Conditions. If a supplier requires the AGO to review specific terms and conditions, those must be submitted with the bid. Unless explicitly agreed to in writing by the AGO, no supplier terms or conditions will be valid or enforceable “Click-through,” “shrink-wrap,” “browse-wrap,” or unilateral terms are not binding. AGO employees are not authorized to modify these Standards.

IF APPLICABLE:

(6) Software License. If a supplier is reselling software (including licenses), supplier warrants that: (1) supplier has the right to grant the license, (2) supplier has all necessary permissions to sell and the AGO may use the software for business purposes, (3) in the event the supplier is not the provider of the product, the License Provider’s terms apply but in case of any conflict, these Standards shall control.
