ABOUT THE ORGANIZATIONS

Funding for programs and administration is received under the Federal Older Americans Act, Oregon Project Independence, Social Security Act – Title XIX, federal grants and loans, State of Oregon programs, other local governments, fund raising, community groups and individual donations. Most of its funding is provided by way of contracts to administer specific services. More information is available at OCWCOG’s website, www.ocwcog.org.

Community Services Consortium (CSC) is a federal and state-designated community action agency, established over forty years ago. CSC offers a wide range of programs and services in Linn, Benton, and Lincoln counties, and select services in Polk County, including housing, utility assistance, home weatherization, employment, education, nutrition, and more. CSC’s mission is to overcome poverty in the region by connecting people with the tools and resources they need to build better futures. CSC works together with extensive community partners across the region, including OCWCOG, to overcome poverty one person at a time. Over the last 10+ years, CSC has experienced exponential growth in funding sources, services, and personnel.
