The scope of work involves staged rock excavation, placement of approximately 275,000 cubic yards of concrete, installation of steel embeds and downstream miter gates, construction of bridges and buildings, and soil backfill. The estimated period of performance is 56 months.

Request for Information October 2020
Kentucky Lock Downstream Lock Monoliths
The following information is requested from Contractors interested as a prime contractor in this project:
1. Firm's name, addresses, point of contact, phone number, and e-mail address.
2. Firm's interest in providing a proposal in response to the solicitation once issued.
3. Experience: Evidence of capabilities to perform comparable work in the areas of mass concrete placements, structural concrete placements, concrete batch plant operation, fabrication of structural steel components.
4. Firm's capability to perform a contract of this magnitude and complexity.
5. Firm's business category and business size (Large Business, Historically underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone), Women Owned, etc.)
6. Firm's Joint Venture information, if applicable.
7. Cage Code and Unique Entity Identifier (UEI, formerly known as DUNS) number
8. Bonding capacity (per contract limit, aggregate limit, and current aggregate capacity):
