About this file

This document contains a federal contract opportunity notice and sample maintenance logs for NOAA All Hazards Weather Radio transmitter sites in Kentucky. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is seeking capability statements from firms interested in providing preventative maintenance, corrective actions, and emergency response for NOAA Weather Radio transmitters in Kentucky. The potential five-year contract includes a one-year base period and four one-year option periods. Capability statements are limited to ten pages and should address the firm's organization and experience maintaining RF transmitters, ability to meet response time requirements, security clearances, and experience with transmitter manufacturers including Armstrong, Crown Electronics, Nautel and Continental Electronics Corporation. The sample maintenance logs provide templates for documenting inspection results, corrective actions, and transmitter performance metrics to support the contract requirements.
