NWWP9240210008 Question and Answers

1. You’ve provided clear antenna loading requirements for the 50’ tower, but the 30’ one just says “Install RSOIS equipment on 30’ level, all equipment provided by the National Weather Service.” Can you please provide some further information/specs as to what the RSOIS equipment will consist of?

a. pdf document with the RSOIS sensors has been uploaded

2. 50ft tower questions:

1. Without providing some sort of expensive platform all antennas cannot physically mount at the 50’ level. Please provide us mounting heights in the top section of the 50’ tower that would be acceptable along with what heights go with each antenna.

2. How do you intend on mounting the antennas to the tower? Clarify if you intend on side arm mounts or just attaching the antennas to the tower legs?

a. A pdf of the antennas that will attach to the 50’ tower has been uploaded. The mounting hardware used to attach the antennas to the pipes on the WFO building now could be used to attach to the new tower. They will have to research further to see if any of the antennas have height requirements.
