About this file

This document is an Addendum No. 2 to a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Pouring Rights issued by the National Western Center Authority in Denver, Colorado. The RFP seeks a beverage partner for pouring rights across various campus venues, including approximately 10 fountains, 20 bar guns, 15 single-door coolers, and 30 double-door coolers. The RFP response deadline is February 18, 2025, at 11:59 AM, with the last date to submit questions being February 7, 2025. The National Western Stock Show anticipates approximately one million attendees annually, with 2024 concession revenue at $7.6 million.

The pro forma financial projections indicate significant growth potential, with total attendance expected to increase from 1,439,892 in 2027 to 2,193,716 in 2036. The projected sales revenue starts at $18,871,466 in 2027 and grows to $29,275,838 by 2036, with a consistent net income before taxes of around 9.67%. The pouring rights opportunity includes extensive branding and exposure across multiple venues such as the Sue Anschutz-Rodgers Livestock Center, Stockyards Events Center, and various campus-wide branding opportunities including signage, concession branding, digital platforms, and event sponsorships like the National Western Stock Show's rodeo and horse show events.

Responses to RFP Comments

1. Do you have a projected equipment need for each location (coolers, bar guns, fountains), and will there be a need for vending across the campus?

Fountain – approximately 10 (Complex & LVC) Bar guns – approximately 20 (Complex, LVC, and Legacy) Single Door coolers – approximately 15 Double Door coolers – approximately 30

Vending – TBD

2. Could you share current attendance (including the Coliseum) and growth projections?

Additionally, what is today’s concession revenue?

The Coliseum concessions are not part of this scope, however, it includes rodeo branding of assets.

The attendance is roughly one million attendees.

2024 concession revenue was $7.6M.

Attached is a Pro Forma with projections.

3. Would you be able to connect us with the Director of Marketing and Initiatives, as well as the Director of Community Engagement, to further explore collaboration opportunities in these areas?

This would not be possible until after the selection of the proposer.

4. Please confirm if the proposer’s (Swire Coca-Cola) RFP submission date to NWS is 2/18/25 at 11:59am:

Yes, that is correct.

5. Please confirm if the last date to submit questions regarding the RFP to your email address is 2/7/25 at 11:59AM:

Yes, that is correct.

6. Please add context to “including after-hours equipment service” on page 16 of the RFP and include possible timeframe of after-hours service/expectations

The intention of that statement is to ensure that service is available should equipment fail during an event.

7. What are the volume projections for water?

Approximately 25,000 units.

8. Please add the value $ for each of the following below:

We do not provide our rate card; the partnership is a collection of assets. We do not provide a price per asset.
