Q: Are you looking for export packaging?

A: Not sure what this question is referring to. Generator to be shipped by vendor to American Samoa.

Q: Enclosure? If so, what type?

A: No enclosure needed. This generator will be located inside an existing building.

Q: Do you need an ATS quoted with it?

A: Not needed. The existing facility has a relatively new automatic transfer switch.

Q: Who will be doing the startup/installation?

A: Unknown at this time. Will have another solicitation for installation closer to delivery. Previous delivery dates quoted at 56+ months away.

Q: If you need an ATS, what kind of Mechanism and transition?

A: No, the existing facility has a relatively new automatic transfer switch that a 40W Kohler generator is currently using.

Q: Do you want a breaker on the generator? If so, what amp rating?

A: Yes, a breaker is needed but we don't have an answer for what amperage is required for the breaker. Also, the current 40 kW generator has been meeting the station's needs since 2004, but we don't know the exact station load.

Q: Do you know who the engine manufacturer is on the current generator?

A: John Deere 4 cylinder

Q: Is 40kW the peak load?

A: Peak load is unknown

Q: Do you know what type of controller is on the current generator?

A: The engine controller is a standard Kohler controller
