About this file

This Notice to Vendors from the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) Union Maintenance office solicits contractor services for a catch basin retrofit project in Union County. The project involves retrofitting one Type 7 catch basin to a Type 18 catch basin located on Union Boulevard (S-44-124) between Horseshoes Circle and Brookside Drive. Work shall be performed in accordance with standard drawing 719-018-01 and includes repair of the separation at the connection of the cross line box and stubbed reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) located under the existing Type 7 catch basin. The contractor must supply all labor, materials, debris removal, and traffic control and is responsible for maintaining positive flow throughout the project.

The notice indicates that this solicitation follows a Request for Informal Quote issued by SCDOT Union Maintenance in March; vendors who previously submitted pricing for that request need not respond again unless unable to honor their quoted pricing. Emmett Kirwan, Procurement Officer/Manager, is identified as the point of contact. No specific response deadline, contract term, or pricing details are provided in this notice document.
