Notice of Intent to Use Cooperative Contract
This is a Notice of Intent to Use Cooperative Contract from the State of Oregon related to a procurement exceeding $250,000. The document establishes the state's intent to award and utilize a cooperative contract for goods or services, indicating that the procurement will be conducted through a cooperative purchasing agreement rather than a traditional competitive bidding process. The cooperative contract mechanism allows the state to leverage purchasing power and streamline procurement procedures by utilizing existing agreements established by other public entities or cooperative purchasing organizations.
The document serves as formal notification to potential vendors and interested parties of the state's procurement approach and intent to award through cooperative channels. This notice fulfills transparency and public notice requirements under Oregon procurement law, ensuring that stakeholders are informed of the state's purchasing decisions and the contractual vehicles being utilized. The cooperative contract award structure enables the state to access pre-negotiated pricing and terms while maintaining compliance with public procurement regulations.
