About this file

The document is a Notice of Intent to Sole Source issued by the Collier County Board of County Commissioners Procurement Services Division in Florida, specifically targeting Technology At Work of SWFL, Inc. as a single source provider for car wash systems and related services. The notice, with Reference Number PUR 9021, was released on Friday, March 7, 2025, with a submission deadline of Friday, March 14, 2025 at 3:00 pm, and covers a contract period from 3/7/2025 to 9/30/2028. The county seeks to procure preventive maintenance services, repairs, parts, supplies, soaps, chemicals, and new equipment for the Fleet Management self-service car wash system located at 2901 Count Barn Rd, which serves nearly all Board of County Commissioners departments, including the Collier County Sheriff's Office.

Technology At Work of SWFL, Inc. is being considered as a single source supplier for an extensive range of vehicle wash industry products, including Istobal Rollover Vehicle Wash Systems, various self-serve wash systems, vacuums, air machines, drying systems, water reclamation systems, POS systems, car wash chemicals, and specialized equipment. The sole/single source justification is based on the company being the closest local service provider and a full-service distributor for the vehicle wash industry in the South Florida Region. The procurement process allows potential respondents to contest the sole source designation by providing documentation showing alternative qualified sources, though pricing is not requested at this stage. The Procurement Services Division will have the final determination on the sole source status, and all responses must be submitted through the Collier County Procurement Services Division Online Bidding System.
