About this file
This is a Notice of Intent to Sole Source for a federal contract opportunity issued by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH). NIMH intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Compu-Gen Technologies, Inc., located at 535 E 3rd Street, Williamsport, PA 17701, for the procurement of Nagios XI monitoring software. The solicitation number is NIMH26000082, classified under NAICS code 541519 (Other Related Computer Services) with a small business set-aside requirement. The response deadline is February 22, 2026, at 12:00 PM EST, and responses must be submitted electronically to Joe Kennedy, Contract Specialist, at joseph.kennedy@nih.gov.
The procurement covers a one-year base period from 3/15/26 to 3/14/27 and includes three specific items: Nagios XI Unlimited Node Email Support & Maintenance Plan (quantity 1), Nagios Enterprise License Add-on (quantity 1), and Phone Support (quantity 1). The software will serve as a monitoring and alert mechanism for NCATS (National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences) infrastructure, providing IT engineers with monitoring workflows, health checks, custom metrics, logs, alert and incident management, endpoint management, auto-remediation, and observability control plane for Linux, Windows, and web application platforms. The government determined that Compu-Gen Technologies is the sole source capable of meeting requirements, citing the substantial cost duplication associated with switching to alternative brands and the need for seamless data transition. Responses must include unit pricing, list price, shipping costs, delivery period, payment discount terms, F.O.B. point, UEI, TIN, business size certification, and place of manufacturing. All offerors must maintain active SAM registration.
